TTA Fans

Howdy hi! My name is Squirrelly, for those that don't already know. I've been a fan of Tiny Toons since the first season went into reruns, which is when I first watched them on tv. I've been a fan ever since.

It as pretty shortly after that when I got onto alt.tv.tiny-toons (at the time the only show in alt.tv other than alt.tv.simpsons), and found the the world of Tiny Toons fans like myself. Most of them with a bit of a headstart on me, having seen the season from the start.

Lots of fun, watching new episodes of TTA and going online to talk with everyone about them. It was particularly nice for me, being in the Eastern time zone, and had a station that showed TTA in the morning. :-)

From there I got into the "Furry" fandom via a friend, also a TTA fan, who at the time went by the name Furrball. He introduced me to FurryMUCK, and that introduced me to even more people.

After the show went off the air, the alt.tv.tiny-toon group started to die off, and spam levels went up. That's when Kevin invited me to join his Fan Fiction mailing list, where most of the Toonsters still hung out away from the spam.

With the cross-over between TTA and furry fandom, that eventually lead to many of us Toonsters getting to meet up once or so a year, at furry conventions. The primary one for TTA fans getting together is Anthrocon, and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone again this year too! Kevin pretty much always throws a great party to kick things off, and then we all just kind of hang out throughout the weekend.

I'm glad to see the TTA-FanFic list still going well, and this site is part of my wanting to help support it and the TTA community in general. Let's keep the fandom alive and well!
