This is my first attempt at an original drawing of Babs, using no refferences. I drew a few copies of Babs from the model sheets to get the general idea of how she should be drawn, and then did this based on what I'd learned. And what I learned was, I really shouldn't have tried a profile picture. ;)

Yeah
Yeah, not bad! I really need to get back into drawing more regularly again too. But reminds me of when I first started drawing, and it was because of TTA as well.
I practiced with references as you did, though I think mine was from just drawing while watching the show, as this was either just before I had internet access, or when I did, there really wasn't much online other than alt.tv.tiny-toons news group, and stuff people posted there.
Then once I felt I had the hang of it somewhat, during classes, I would get the urge to doodle some drawings in my notebooks, and so while try drawing TTA characters without any references (often just frontal face shots at first, so your full body profile is an even bigger attempt). While I made a lot of mistakes, what it did was really help me figure out just what details I hadn't remembered, when I went to try and draw one.
So then next time the show was on, I'd pay attention to those details, and try drawing them again later. That really helped a lot.
So you're off to a good start, and just keep on practicing like that, and you'll be drawing as well as all the rest of the TTA artists too!
Hey...
Not bad...
